which way of mounting rb25?

Should I use the top hat mounts with the rb25 or r33 crossmember and stock mounts and an isis or freddy manifold to clear hood? are there any negatives with not using an adaptor kit? i am getting a conversion drive shaft btw. I alread know about the shifter being an inch farther foward, but is that it? id rather get a new manifold and not spend more on the mount kit if its not completely necessary.

Buy mckinney motorsports mounts it will save you tons of head aches everything clears even the hood no need to buy a new manifold and there is no shifter location problem. DONT EVER BUY TOP HAT MOUNTS! Spend the money on the mounts and also DONT EVER BUY A DIFFERENT INTAKE MANIFOLD unless its a greddy and you are running like 450hp.
