I recently purchased an sr20 that had been rebuilt by someone who didn't know what they were doing. Dirty build, blown motor, shot bearing, assembled with rtv by the pound....the works. I'm going to use it to put together something different since its not good for much else at this point. Because I dont believe the person who built it knew what they were doing I don't trust how it came apart.

Could anyone tell me which way the oiling vent hole on the connecting rod faces when installed in the block? Intake or exhaust side?
