I know this is a stupid question, but I cannot remember for the life of me, nor can I find it ANYWHERE. Is the arrow supposed to face front IN towards the engine bay or OUT towards the fenders.

I know I installed them improperly, but I needed them in because I had to go to the hospital. Now I have a brace on my hand & can barely lift anything let alone try to screw with the hat/top whatever ya wanna call it.

I believe it is forward towards the engine. But I just cannot remember

I have no idea what arrow you're talking about.

Happen to have any pics by chance?

Sorry no pics right now. I have the struts over at the shop.

Just so you know I have worked on this car before. But I just bought it last week.

On the mount insulator(at the mounting flange with the 3 studs). There is a small arrow between two of the studs. I notice at different positions(as you turn the insulator to different holes) the strut changes angle. It is almost impossible for me to get the right one on at all regardless of position(left/drivers side goes on with no troubles). Also when I go to remove the right front strut, it is under EXTREME tension..mind you I am not talking of removing the spring from the strut, but the entire strut assembly. I take off one spindle bolt & that ***** just wants to shoot clean across the shop.

The car was in an accident a few years back. But I have NEVER had a car do this on me. I have yet to take it to a frame shop. But all the measurements I have taken are symmetrical from one side to the other. I just have no idea what is going on with the right front of this car.

The arrow usually faces the front of the car.
