Hello I will be doing a swap sometime next month and was wondering if I should order a RB25DET OEM Water Pump or RB25DET N1 Water Pump and for the Super V Main Belt that is only for Waterpump to alternator spin right?

I am and have been running the same stock water pump since day one of the swap. So I would say if your on a budget and there is nothing wronge woth your current pump leave it. If you are just doing it to be safe a stock pump should be fine. But if you plan on allot of power get the N1. It is one upgrade I would do. Iwould always upgrade to a good belt. Better be safe then sorry and do it right the first time.

i've also wondered this too- N1 vs. OEM. I am currently leaning towards the OEM cuz you can supposedly get it from dealers for $80. I have seen the N1 pumps for just under $300.

Also, I would imagine engine cooling is limited more by your radiator's cooling capacity than by flow alone.

I was looking around this weekend and saw that courtesyparts.com had one for $80.

You might check with them if you go OEM

N1 pump is better because we're all using electrical fans. It's more for good measure, although the stock one usually proves to be effective.

I'll be using the N1 on my RB26.
