Ok im building a block thats good to 800hp... My head right now is kinda build, but im going solid lifters and i have bc springs now.. i wanna swich to supertech springs. If i do swich to supertech i will also swich cams, and if i do that im just gonna sell my head complete. My question is will the bc springs do the job at about 25 lbs of boost? is it worth doing a whole new build on my head? What do you guys think?

BC **** breaks... Buy something different. Spend the money on supertech or cosworth or Jimwolf springs... Tomei are good too, just stay away from BC stuff, crap metal is used. You want something that uses metal from Argentina or Germany...

Yeah if you used those and lash killers you'd have a bulletproof head, but it would cost a whole lot more than just springs and retainers.

CMG, I have not. However, I've heard tons of stories from the Honda guys. I have a buddy that is all about honda, he said Supertech are some of the best springs out there. His H22 is built to rev to 9k or so, puts down 260whp and he's running those springs. They are made with some of the finest metal out there. You will pay for it though. Supertech springs for our cars are close to $400 for the dual v/s (which includes spring seat and ti retainers) and $300 for the single (which includes ti retainers)... I would imagine anything on the list that I posted earlier are going to be good reliable springs.

Theres a difference between Brain Crower and Crower. Crower springs have been known to break in some SR's. Brian Crower Springs for the SR are fairly new and alot of people run them with great success. I personally run the BC Springs and Retainers with Tomei Lifters and Cams. I rev to 8500rpm.

I have GReddy springs and rev to 8200 without solid lifters. Been doing so for over a year.

HKS valve springs are the SAME as the stock units.BIG waste of money.I dont know why they even make them?? Greddy and Tomie are good for mild tuned sr's..The stiffest springs you can get are the Ferrea springs..Super stiff and great for high reving sr's..anything over 8000rpms..

I have the Greddy springs and i love them...Very smooth reving all the way up to 7500rpms..I never go higher then that...OK maybe 7600 or 7700 in first and second..lol Im only pushin 260whp so if your looking for 800hp go with the Ferrea's for sure.
