which turbo?

I was looking for some opinions. Down the road I was planning on going turbo. Is it better for me to buy a clip with the ca18det, or just buy whatever I need to turbo a ka24e? Which is cheaper/better/more power?

I figured the sr20 was out of my price range, was hoping for like $1500 - 2000. As far as power just want to not be worried about getting smoked by a sleeper turbo or the liking

the money you spend making the CA equal to the power of the SR you'd pay for the price of the SR and then some. I'm not sayin SR is the best and only way to go.
