I know this might sound stupid heh. But I recently fell in love with autocrossing, but at the same time if I run into someone on the street to run or drag racing which turbo and specs and all would be suitable? I had a turbo in mind, but now I dont think it would be all that great for auto-x. I would need something that could get me in 300hp range and still be able to auto x with it. I swear I always change my mind on the turbo I wanna go with heh. And yes I understand a/r and all that mess. Thanks in advance.

Well...I was actually thinking of the Super 16G from here: http://www.turbosystem.com/auto/sales/sales.htm just have a T3 flange welded onto your stock manifold. Best part is...only 600 bucks an a warranty!! :D

I think the 16G would be pretty laggy...like boost at around 3500-4000 maybe.

Well GENIUS, why dont you stop being so DUMB and READ you GOOFY FOOL!!!! It says 400hp but I think that'd be pushing it, figure on not running more than about 17psi on it and making around 300-320hp (I'm conservative) for it to live a long and healthy life :). If it was me I'd set it at about 15psi and forget about it. Dont forget you'll need to do something about fueling at those levels: upgraded injectors and at least an safc.

go to this page and click on 1989 - 1990 VNT turbo. uses standard T25 cold parts and seals. so, you can get a "big T28 upgrade done to it. found this

Quote »SUPER 60 T2
Quote »This upgrade is a direct boltin for the T2 equipped 90-91 VNT turbo applications. The turbine section of the VNT turbo is matched to a larger 500cfm T28 compressor wheel and equipped with the 360 degree severe duty thrust bearing system for added durability at high boost pressure. The pictures below show the factory compressor wheel dwarfed in the modified compressor housing and also the complete Super 60 T2 VNT unit
Quote »$695.00 exchange with good core
from this page dodge crap

hope this is some help
