Alright.. the time has came to buy a turbo manifold..I did a search, but it only came up with a few results, which were over a year old on different manifolds..

I've been looking to buy the ETDRacing Fulltube manifold, or the "Shorty Log Manifold" they offer.. here's a linkhttp://etdracing.com/manifold/manifold6.html

But I can't decide... I'm not strictly between those two though.. here's what the plan is.. Turbonetics T3/T04E Turbo (.50 trim, .63 A/R) from JGStools.com, 10-12psi of boost on stock engine. 38mm Tial Wastegate.. 3" downpipe... Those would probably be the only things that would concern the manifold. So that's why I was looking at these, somewhat cheap, and offer exactly what I want.. I just wanted to get some other opinions on which of these to get, or any other manifolds, that don't cost $900, since i'm not going for huge HP numbers.. at the moment .. or if anyone has one for sale

I had the ETD manifold (the more expensive one, that was all the offered at the time) on my KA-T motor. The manifold is very well made and honestly I dont really have any complaints about it except the clearance. With my T3/T04E .50 trim tangentially mounted turbo, clearance at the brake master cyl was VERY tight. Also, it aligned the downpipe exit at such an angle that it required quite a bit of work to even fit a 3" downpipe, and even then, clearance with the brake hardline there was less than HALF an inch. Otherwise though a very well made manifold.

Oh, and call and find out how many they have IN STOCK. We did a group buy back on these manifolds a while ago, and they ended up taking forever and ever on the production of the pieces. If I were you I'd make sure that they're in stock before you order, and take any ETA estimate from them with a grain of salt.

Good luck man!

I'd wait for a few. JGStools.com is working on a KA24DE mani. Course they've got it in a S14, but I'm sure they could set your S13 up when they get it worked out for market.

Well, obviously the quality would probably be the same on the Log one, and it's $150 cheaper.. what would be the disadvantages of it over the more expensive tube one?

Honestly I doubt the disadvantage would be THAT much, especially in a moderate 10psi car. I wonder if the clearance is better?

BTW you know those prices are in CDN dollars right?

Yeah, I know that.. so the Log style would be $335 USD..
