Before the Altima I had a set of Toyo Proxes 4's and I would definitely recommend them.

Currently I'm running some more wallet friendly Kumho SPT's and they're pretty good as well for less expensive summers. I've heard good things about the Falken FK-452's as well, or the Nitto Invo's for a much softer rubber compound.

Might help if you told us whether you were looking for an all season, or a summer tire, or any other criteria.

im looking for all season tires...the winters in NJ are brutal and somtimes, i can barely even make it up a small hilly road. i would like the best performance i can get so i can actually stick to the road when its snow covered...or even frozen over from the stupid cold rainy days here.

So for winter tires I have Blizzaks on the stock rims. They kick a**. Hard. I plow snow from boston all the way up to the ski mountains.

For summer tires I have Hankook V12 Evo's now. Also kick a**. Some say the sidewalls arent that good, but I like them alot. Alot alot.

I've had 2 different generations of the Blizzaks, and have nothing but positive things to say for them too. Unfortunately I'm using some old Hankook winter tires, and they suck

Winters I'd recommend the Blizzaks.

For all seasons I've also heard great things about Nokian tires. Their latest is the WRG2 which is supposedly an all season that doesn't suck hard in snow. You might want to do some research in that tire. I should say however, that an all season tire is most likely to not out-perform a real winter tire (assuming similar tier of tires).

if you're looking for a quality tire for the winter, then i'd say get new summer tires for your stockers, and buy dedicated winter tires. you'll never get the same grip from an all season tire compared to a winter tire. or you could get winter tires and then swap them to summers but that's kind of costly after a while, you'r better off getting a seperate set of tires with steel rims or cheap alloys.

i got my 2nd set for this coming winter, last year i was on my stockers and it was brutal even though they were all seasons. since i upgraded to summer tires and new rims this year i had to get something for winter cause last winter around here was vicious

Last year's snow I was having trouble more with clearance than the tires I think... and that was before I installed the Eibachs.... this year I basically told myself that if there's more than a couple inches of snow on the ground, my car is grounded.
