I virtually have the same set up and it works GREAT!BlackSmoke wrote:This is what I have and works goodFront Size: 18x9.0 Offset: +30mm Weight: 21 lbs 4 oz Tire: Bridgestone RE050A 245/40/18

I have the 19x10 rears that came with the new car (grand touring coupe) and am now runnning 275/35/19. All is fine or just run the oem 265s. 19x10 will work fine in the rear on yours too.07bluerocketZ wrote:i was thinking about keeping teh stock tire size in front and going with 19'x10' in the rear....what do you guys think????
YES, and either 18x8.5 or 18x9s in the front. Remember to use the proper inflation and torque plus re-torque after the first 100 miles or so.07bluerocketZ wrote:so you think that going with 18'x9' in the front and 19'x10' in the rear, would work great???

Whatever size you decide just make sure the tire in the front is 0.7"~0.9" shorter (height wise) then the rear, otherwise it will trigger bad episodes of VDC action. If you dont know what that is, its a form of a traction control device that monitors front and rear wheel speeds. If you put a tire too short in the back or too big it will cause your car to buck and lose power as the computer will think you are experiencing unexpected wheel spin.07bluerocketZ wrote:i was thinking about keeping teh stock tire size in front and going with 19'x10' in the rear....what do you guys think????
look threw the forums ive got picks up before i got my alinment and it acctually looks better now so ima repost (yea i really needed an alinment)BlackSmoke wrote:Well they may seem heavy but that is the diffference in weight between those 17's and the 19's. You should be fine with that wheel / tire package. I hope the offset of the wheel is proper to fit the tire correctly in your fenderwell. Post some pics after you put them.
