Which temp sensor should I use???

I have a 95 ka24de swapped into my 91 s13 and I replaced the temp sensor with I believe a 95 temp sensor and my autometer temp gauge reads all fked up when I have the plug by the ecu plugged in that powers the stock temp n tach. Just wondering should I use the temp sensor for my 91 car or a temp sensor for the 95 motor or does it even make a difference?

Anyone know? Just let me know if I should run a 95 or 91 temp sensor and if running the wrong sensor would cause the car to run like ****?

if ur running an s14 engine in an s13 chassis with s13 chassis engine harness...well...u run s13 parts if u want thing to read properly...
