Which taillights do you prefer?

Okay, here's a somewhat stupid post for you all if no one objects. Which do you prefer? The taillights from the 83-86 lights? Or the 87-89 lights? I just wanted to hear other people opinions on them considering I have too much time to think about silly little things like this. Personally I like the earlier generation lights because they resemble the older datsun Z taillights, although I also think they look a little funny. I kind of like the slim design of the later model lights but I think it leaves too much "blank space" on the rear end. I know this isn't a very serious topic but I thought I'd throw this out to hear what you guys think.

To be fair the 84-86 tails you show include the aftermarket center fill panel. Here is the stock 84-86 Tail lights

personally I like the 87-89 tails, but I always wanted to shave the bumperettes, like this

I personally lean to the 87-89 taillights more but the rear bumper on them looks bad unless the "bumper tits" are shaved down like the above post. Since I own an 86 I've learned to like the 86 taillights more than I did before I bought my Z.

The tail lights, along with the sleepy headlights are what attracted me to the 87-89 z's. I loved how simple and basic it looked.
