Ok if you have read my original thread (so it begins) you are familiar with my situation. I need a motor set from a reliable source, and everytime i find one it turns out to be a fail Either it is too much Heavy throttle or the supplier turns out to be a PIA after $ is exchanged. I am leaving options open so if you have a better idea you can add it. I am looking for a redtop to my door in Maine for 1800 complete no All of my choices were sponsors but have had mixed reviews from our members. My other research was our trusty SEARCH button but that has to be old cause Osaka is still listed a being reputable please help please leave feedback when you vote

famous for 5 minutes at a time I whored your name out in my poll CORRECTION nisstek was the unfortunate recipient of that motor yeah if I either come across a good sounding deal i will stay up untill the unrestricted zone is open and post pictures. I am trying to get pics and a compression test prior to purchase. Unfortunately you have to trust that same engine is going to be the one at your door in the morning.

I've never heard any bad issues with heavythrottle as well. I'd vote for them for sure.

You can read up on some of their reviews herehttp://www.zilvia.net/f/showth...ottle

Yeah I have ordered everthing through them as far as parts, but there engines are a little pricey for my budget I am almost tempted to save a little longer anyone know of any other EAST COAST suppliers?

Yeah I just contacted Heavy throttle (JEFF) via e mail, they know me. I have done 75% of my business through them at least, and spoke with jeff through e-mail on several ocasions. Ihave based my whole build off of this forum and there FAQ page and there advise. I'm hoping i can score a military discount cause 2650 for a used engine is alot. Although they are the only people I have no fear from buying from so i KNOW I must save extra money to ensure my projects success. The poll can keep going, but I am 99% sure they will get my business THANKS NICO

Thank you NICO for helping me, Heavthrottle is providing my motorset. I can't find one thread that can convince me otherwise. You want to play you got to pay.....to anyone else not sure where to buy consider what your investing in and how much you invested to get this far...parts alone for my swap were over 4k, but all the parts in the world are not going to make a difference if your motor sucks! Future write up coming when I recieve my motorset. Based on customer service (75% of my parts bought there) this place rocks!
