I have all of the following

Eibach Sportlines with 500mi sitting in garageEibach Prokits with 5000mi sitting in my garageMaxspeed Springs with 5000mi on my car

im putting in agx's once the snow clears and i cant decide on which springs to use. i want to use the sportlines unless im goin to have camber problems like i was told before when i had them on. the maxspeed have a better drop than prokits and the performace i would say is the same.

Well, I am bigger on performance than on comfort or style, so which ever has the firmest rate and gives the most tasteful drop would be my vote.

What would Q45tech say?

... a sticky tire and tuned sways will give a greater return on performance investment than over-firm struts will.

I say, keep the Pro-kit, but I'm old school. I've also test driven all manner of cars with both the Sportline and Pro-Kit, so I judge more from a ride quality-to-response standpoint, as opposed to how rough or stiff the ride is, or how low the car sits.

A good street spring setup will give you decent(small % stiffer) ride quality, slightly lowered stance, and still be driveable for all day use. Some bone jarring setups that I see people do are intolerable. If you plan on keeping the car and driving it as-is for years to come, go with the spring that rewards the driver with decent ride, decent drop, and improved handling response. The Pro-Kit gives all three. IMO

Wow....That was one of the most insighful and knowledged responses I have ever read. On any forum. To the point, filled with real world experience and slighted opnion. Once again, I see why you are a mod;)

i enjoy my pro kit AGX combo, its a great level of performance and not too stiff. Anything stiffer would be uncivilized for my 240sx. Overall handling has definitly been improved and i havent even really played with the adjustments on the AGXs yet. body roll and dive is minimal but its still there. But if i had some way of adjusting stiffness on my springs i'd leave them right where there at thats for sure.

sell em all and get kgmm dr racing. (if you have the guts (evil laugh)). lol. i think the eibachs are ur best bet. if ur worried about the ride, stick with the pro kits. if you dont mind the jarring, go with the sportlines. if your worst enemy is wheel well gap, then go with the sportlines.

i dont mind too stiff of a ride, but like i said coilovers would be a lil too much with the condition of streets around here. the only thing stopping me from using the sportlines is any camber problems. i think its really between the sportlines and maxspeed since the drop of the max is great and they've been great for the past 6 months or so

q45 tech would say stick with the prokits since lateral grip can only be changed maybe 3% by spring changes anyways, and that drop will be nice, tastefull, and wont ungodly shorten the dampers stroke and wont lead to alignment problems..

its what I would say as well :p

my vote is for the pro-kit.
