Looking to lower my car with a set of springs on stock struts/shocks. As far as going stock+springs what do you guys recommend (tein/eibach) and what is max allowed drop on stock shocks before i start breaking things? Im basically looking for lower ride height but semi-soft, not too hard ride.

any thoughts?

( i've done an extensive search but nothing directly answers my question)

if your going to lower your car AT ALL, you want to get aftermarket struts. just save up and do it right the first time. plus you dont want to have to tear it apart twice.

U will be very unhappy wtih the ride quality on stock shocks. Wait till you have the money to buy a combo before you do it at all.

I have Tanabe GF210's springs on stock struts and it rides way nice...Of course my car has only 57,000 original miles on it so that also might help....I'm gonna buy some struts pretty soon. I was gonna get KYB AGX's but I would like to get something that works just as good but different. I also have the Tien S-tech springs but I think I'm gonna stay with the Tanabe's...I personally like the Tanabe's so far....Great spring!!
