my question is what are THE BEST plugs to run on SRs. right now i have NGK platinums, for the SR20DE, and it did run good, now it has a miss at idle when the engine is warmed up. i have searched the forums, and everyone just talks about gaps and stuff. i heard that platinums are bad for forced induction(turbo) and that like the NGK coppers are better. i just want plugs that dont cost a whole lot, and will last a while. right now my platinums are gapped to .030, and that helped a little with the misfire, but it is still there. i have a walbro pump, 3in. downpipe and exhaust, nismo pressure regulator, boost is at 8PSI normally, and a stock supra FMIC.

Sorry you have an SR Misfires always happen. Buuuuut to reduce it yes I swiched to NGK coppers. Unless you feel liek dishing out obscene amounts of moneies for the Iriduims coppers are as good as they get. only like a buck a peice. Work great.

$39.99 from http://www.sr20detperformance.com/ (ie Enjuku racing). Look under engine components.

Man BuudWeizErr, maybe u should ask me about where to get the cheapest parts...that's twice ( http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....81224 )!

1st off: This was 6 months ago. Plus it was free shipping.2nd off: That stainless line, I don't have to bend the line. I knew about that site that sold the stainless FC lines before.

Thanks anyways.

Hey bud, what do you have your plugs gapped at? I got mine fron enjukuracing, and they came with a note saying to gap them smaller, but most people i talk to say you shouldn't gap an iriduim plug, cause youll mess it up. Car doesnt miss at all, runs great, so im just curious. Thanks, Chris

Under your hood it should tell you what size to gap em. since they say gap them smaller i think it's just a few .0 something smaller.

Boy, THAT was helpful.. :rolleyes

We've had great luck with the NGK Platinums - No need to gap them as they're pre-set from the factory.

I use NGK part BKR7E which is a step colder than the stock plugs and two steps colder than the 91/92 SE-R plugs that people are known to use as temporaries. Work great especially here in KY it 92 degrees, 85% humidity and at 15 psi no knock and obviously no fouling.

Drifting banned? no way. the Import car media has just figured out that they can make money off of it. Give it 6 months of publicity and people acting like morons on public roads and there will be specific laws sprouting up around the country.. Anytime one of us turns a tire in the rain we'll have to be lookin over our shoulder.

No, you got banned for flaming on someone who did nothing to deserve it. You don't just come rolling in here with your double-digit post count and start firing off on people like you did. You were warned, you chose not to heed that warning.

I had considered being cool about this but I've reconsidered. Take your "props" over to http://www.superhondaonline.com, they like your kind over there.

I'd ban you for your terrible grammer, ghetto talk, blatant use of profanity throughout your posts, constant inflamatory post...the list just goes on and on. Also, I'm not in the LEAST bit suprised your a member of a honda forum ;) (You can take that however you want :D) I'd start treading really softly if I was you right about now.
