Okay, so it's time to get some new tires. I bought the rims used and they came with a set of 205/40/17 Wynstar Exocet tires. Overall I was pretty pleased with them, but I'm looking for something a little better. I looked on the ICW Wheels website and the size of the rims are: 17x7/+45. What would be the ideal tires for these? Are the 205/40/17's right? I want something a little wider if possible. I don't know nothing about the sizes of rims, offset etc. So any info would be great! Thanks!

215/45/17 FTW. And, throw those wheels away and get something with a MUCH lower offset.

Screw tires you my friend need better wheels, I'm thinking at least 17x8's with a +28 offset.

Those would still be sunken on a car with a low ride height. If you're going for 8's, get a +0 offset and run camber on rolled fenders.
