I'll be getting 18 inch wheels and wrapping them with 245/45/18's. I think I'm going to go with some bronze Nismo 5 spoke wheels... haven't decided on the tire yet... I'm thinking Eagle F1's or possibly a Potenza.

i personally think 19s would look the best, but the prices of rubber for 19s cost too much, so you're basically have 18s as ur cheapest option, 20s next, then 19 and then of course there are some w/ 22s which is way too big for the A/C. Cheapest of course is keep ur stocks hehe

i like my 19s, but tires are expensive, and every tire shop I went to had to order them from their warehouse, so I wasn't able to try on different sizes.

In my opinion, 18's are the best of all worlds. Form, function, and ride comfort. Not to mention tire selection galore!

Just make sure the offest isnt higher than 40mm. Mine are 18's with a 45 offest, and I should of went with a 38mm offset but oh well.

there's a guy near me trying to sell those Rays G35 wheels for 900 but 2 of them were worn out so I was kinda weary about buying tires... how much do they cost? 200+? for FK452?

I have 18" Niche Venice chrome wheels on my coupe with 245/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position tires. Haven't had any snow to drive in with this setup but the tires seem really good in the rain. And, the tires look good and run pretty quiet so I'm pretty pleased with the setup. When I can keep them clean, I really like the chrome wheels with the Code Red color...but...tough to keep them and the car clean for more than a day or two in the Midwest winter.

FK42's are a best-buy at around $130-$140 a piece for 18's. Well, over there on the mainland it is, but here in Hawaii they run about $175

Really? What is the width of the wheels?

I'm looking to purchase 18inch wheels very soon, and I was under the impression that anywhere from 38 to 45 offset is ideal.

Can somebody enlighten me please? Does it matter whether the width is 7.5in or 8in?

Most aftermarket 18's +35 to +45 will come in a 8" or 8.5". I don't know if I've ever seen an 18x7.5", but I'm sure there are some out there. Wider footprint = better handling.

My tires cost $150 a piece, $850 for the rims and shipping. Ride is the same, but you can feel a lot more grip when turning. Seems a lot faster with acceleration to me.

I have the 18inch nismo 57F and the Falken 452

Got the tires $118 each at America Tire, regularly they were $137 but I got them to price match it online.
