Which Rad hose

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

On on the SOHC which hose should be Hot to touch and which one should be cold to touch. Because I think mine are reversed heh.

I think im just going to take out the stupid thermo forever :p

in the ka24de, the top hose is the hot, and the bottom is the cold:), may or may not be same for SOHC though.

Im pretty sure it is the same for the single cam

Ok Thank you very much, I guess I didnt mess up, but for the summer Im gona run no thermo cause of the humid weather here in Chicago. It seems to work a lot better and the car stays a lot cooler. Before Id be between 210-225, now Im bearly going past the 185 mark .

leave the thermostat in! a cold engine is not operating at peak operating temp. you will reduce emissions and increase power. a cold engine is not a happy engine
