which qx4 should I choose?

well as some of you know I'm shopping fore a replacement qx, sooooo i've come down to these choices, I actually already bought a white/tan original owner high mileage (150k) Qx4 4x4 but just came across a Silver/Black '01 with 120k miles also 4x4 but with 2 or more owners (not sure yet) and also a replaced tailgate (which the seller disclosed to me already so honesty is a plus)now here are some reference pics what do you guys think?

White/Tan Two Tone with Tan Interior

Silver/Black

both are '01 4wds, basically I already bought the white '01 now I'm deciding if I should buy the second one the silver/black one and sell the white one



after driving the white/tan it actually looks alot nicer than I thought and looks classy while the silver makes it a bit more boring

what do you guys think? or should I just keep both hahaha

they both look good.... if i really had to choose, i'd go with the silver one out of the two.... silver hides dirt better and i like the dark gray interior (ive had tan for too long) but since you already bought the white one, i'd just leave it at that. You will have trouble selling the white one if you choose to do so. With this economy, nobody is really buying right now unless they absolutely have to (like people who just totalled their car for example) and there arent too many of them.

How you liking the power from da VQ35 engine?

How much did you spend?

yeah youll be staring at the interior most of the time, the silvers much more appealing, and it does have considerably lower mileage. if you got the cash for both, itd be good to have both cuz then youll have interchangeable parts!either way...youll be rolling in style

i like the silver better cause im not a big fan of the two tone and it has black interior...if it was up to me i would get the silver..but whatever you choose is gonna be a nice looking truck anyways

hmmm after inspecting the silver qx4, I will need some time to decide, my white one is cleaner =p

and fueler, whats wrong with having two qx4s?? haha no I would plan to give one to my brother and steal it back when I feel like a different color suit.

VQ35 is superb man, night and day difference.

Price- the white one was 'stolen' pshh for $8500 after all taxes, fees and service etc. not bad for a one owner all records vehicle (like two dings, great overall condition, even has a bit of the new car smell)All I was finding was 2wds for 7-10k and all the 4wds were up in the 10-14k range

as for the tan interior- maybe I'm the opposite, my last qx had the gray, and my Q45, I30, Maxima,240sx, all have black interior and this was the first tan interior that actually looks classy to me with the light wood trim

Definitely Silver............which is exactly what I have. It's much easier to clean and even if it's dirty, you can't really tell. I have a white Honda Accord as well with tan cloth interior and I'm the 2nd owner and boy when daylight is out it looks grimmy, looks like all the auto mechanics were in the car placing there hands around the seats.

well white it is, the silver one sold and i'm not too unhappy about it because it had been hit in the rear and had the whole quarter panel painted and it wasnt the greatest job. If it wasnt for that I would have bought it too and kept two QXs hahawe'll see what pops up next, maybe if I get adventurous I'll paint the beige exterior trim pearl white but for now its time to slap on my old wheels and tires and get dirty

I'd just keep the white one. I tend to think that the evil that you know is better than the one you don't. The conservative part of me says that if you know the vehicle you have is a good one, don't get rid of it. Color isn't that important.

I never have been a huge fan of the two tone effect on any truck but I'm a sucker for tan interior...That silver one is awesome, which is why I like that one better but not crazy bout black interiors, least not on the QX4. I always like having dark colored cars/trucks that look more agressive and tough but with any tan leather interior it creates a luxury feel too!

Just out of curiosity how many colors does the QX4 come in? from what i've seen Black, Silver/White, and that gold 2 tone color and that's it XD .I've never seen a Green, Red, Blue Qx4 once. But i guess it isn't just the Qx4 it seems to be the same with all Luxury SUVS they are all the same 3 different shades of White.

theres also gold uni-tone

black and gray two tone

a horrendous maroon color

97-00s came in green, then sort of an olive green, a bordeaux, a seafoamish color

01+s came in majestic blue, bordeaux and other colors and also had silver/black two tone, then green/brown two town

I'm sure there are other colors, just some more popular than others haha

personally i would pick the white one...it has a pearlish effectwhich makes it look upscale but the silver is an amazing color as well

Personally the maroon color gives it a very nice romantic feel. I personally do not like that jungle green color they have for the QX4, it's horrible. I also do no like Black or Dark Blue, a small scratch to these colors are very noticeable, but that's my opinion.

tell me about it. my q looks flawless in pictures but look up close on a hot sunny day when its super clean and....yep....all over the place! but still.....not very noticeable unless up close....nothing like a wet or clean black qx4 man!

as for the maroon. im putting my foot down. its hideous. reminds me of that s****y red colour on interiors back in the 80's.......i cudnt drive in that. and the olive green.....meh its alright. 97qxfour's smashed green qx4 was a NICE green, darker. If i had a choice...gunmetal grey.

not that itd look good on the q but anybody see land rover's olive green? that is sexxxyyyyy very rare tho its got a matte finish too just a little gloss.

In my neighborhood I regularly see a gold one like mine, a white over gold, a dark blue (they also own the white/gold one), a maroon, and that cool sage green color.

I am always shocked by the number of QX4's in Boise considering they were only made for 7 years and the nearest dealership is 300+ miles away.
