I've read numerous answers to this, but none that are definitive across the board.

There's a post by Wes from a while back saying that 90-93 T doesn't have a faster ratio than base Qs, which leads me to believe all early Qs were faster.

But various options summaries found around the 'net (far from reliable, I know) say that it either went away for '95 model year or '96 model year. Some '95 model reviews note the faster ratio, too.

So was it just '94 and '95 in which the T had a different ratio? Or just '94? Or am I totally off the mark there?

I'm wondering because of tmak26b's comment in the "the power of the Q" thread about steering feel...I was going to bring up the different ratios but realized I'm not sure what Qs had which racks.

Yea, just search everywhere for any posts ever created by rsiwcki ... you can read for hours about the car you think you already know.
