Which price for my 95 Q45a?

Hello all,

I'm thinking about selling my car, described here. That thread pretty well describes the state it is in, but to sum up, it's in good condition except for the active suspension which sometimes makes the car lean right. It's rare, but it exists. It would seem the issue is a faulty height sensor. Note that the "actsus" light hasn't been showing in months now. Also, the front brakes are getting a bit old and changing them would not hurt; it's not urgent though. The battery and the cooling system are new, the oil and brake fluids were flushed recently (coolant too as the whole cooling system was changed). It's at 68k miles.

I have been really enjoying and still am, but 2 things make me want to sell it: since my wife got a car the utility of having 2 times 5 seats with only one child is really discutable so i'd like to have some fun commuting on a bike and save gas in the process. Second reason is it seems i will never address that height sensor thing so i'm thinking i should sell it while it's still worth something.

My question is: how much do you think it's worth?

Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Sadly, it's not worth what it should be

That said, if it's clean (no rust, etc), well documented and the active suspension is functioning correctly it could be worth up to $5k to a Q45 fan, but that would take time & the right buyer.

On the "used car market" it'll bring no more than $3500.

I have been looking for a Q in the color for some time. Not into the active though. I wish you weren't on the other side of the country!!! I would throw an offer pending a test drive but flying after my experience getting out of St. Croix with Isaac... BAH
