so i am rebuilding my motor and am ordering new pistons. i dunno if i should get stay 8.5:1 or go 9:1. and what can i actually notice low end from going 9:1. but heres what i have done so far

stage 3 clutch
cometic headgasket
arp head studs
brian crower 264 camshafts
brain crowe retainers/springs
supertech valve/ stem seals.
greddy rocker arm stoppers
clevite
isis intake

things going to be done
t28(s15)
zmaf
750cc.

i dont really wanna make more than 400 bc my headgasket will be the weak point being its cometic.and its my DD/D

just trying to see if its really worth pitching the money or just putting new OEM's in since they can handle what i am trying to achieve from what i have heard. not looking for flaming, just helpful thoughts.thanks!

There are several posts here that state the differences between 8.5:1 and 9:1.
Here's one just a few posts below yours: 9-0-1-pros-and-cons-t528877.html

As far as brand goes, CP Pistons seem to be the most popular.
