I'm in a decision of painting my car a High Gloss Black or a Pearlescent Sliver. Do you guys think that Sliver would look great on a S14? From a different angle the Silver will have a blue over lay on it. I really don't want to go with the High Gloss Black I mean it'll look sweet, but I remember watching my brother spend hours upon hours try to get the swirls out of his black car.

Silver will look good but it will be obvious that its not original paint.

Black will look good but scratches and swirls will be more noticeable and trust me...your car will look dirty more often than not, thats just the nature of black paint.

My vote: Silver

The guy I got the car from just repainted it the original metallic purple that came on it, but he just did the the outside. So you can kinda tell when you open the door and see the original color. It's a little off but not that much. You have to really get up on it to tell. I'm porbably going to drive on the purple for a while until I swap out the engine and redo the interior. I'm going to have them rip everything out when I get it painted.

I can't find the color online to show you guys, but if any of you guys have Need For Speed Underground. Go to the Pearlescent colors and it's the last one on the top.

I like what the vent does to the lines on the carbon hood.
