Nothing you do to your cars is a "smart" ideaLike someone said it depends on the rest of your car, you should of put more picssmoked tail lights dont restrict the light that much you can still see them.I would say......number 1 but idk what the rest of your car looks like.

clear ones look like crap unless they are on a neutral colored car.

I think it is a dumb idea to make your brake lights LESS bright. Plain and simple.

Those taillights 'smoked' will probably still be brighter than the stock ones.

Although personally I am not really a fan of 'smoked' taillights either.
