Which oil should i run?

depends where you live cuz the temp of your area does matter to, also how hot/hard you run the car

well its a daily driver, lots of freeway driving, in southern california. and i don't drive it too hard. but ill occasionally step on it. ^_^

10-30 or 10-40 pending on mileage. if you can spend the money and dont have leaks, run synthetic.

in the owners manual, theres a chart that has temps to viscosity ratings

I too am having problems picking a brand and weight of my oil.its a 91 KA24DE im from Chicago.Every now and then I'll have a silly honda pull up next to me wanting to race.We all kno the outcome of those."there is no replacement for displacement"But anyway does any body have any tips?

Any quality brand will suffice. Assuming you have enough sense to follow a consistent maintenance schedule.

I read somewhere, can't remember of course with the valve lifters it's good to run 0w40 Mobile One, I used to run 15w30 Mobile One and I can tell a difference, if you want to believe that, I live in Chicago and never have to worry about the temp or related issues, other than the rust...
