hey i have a S13 red top and i found a gas station that has 100 octane gas and i heard that in japan they use 100+ octane gas and in the states we dont have that at every gas station so my question is should i stop using 94 octane and go to 100??

WTF?!! You get 94 Octane? Depends on your mods. You should be fine running 94 octane unless you want to run with high boost. The highest we have here is 92 octane and I'm running 14 psi daily.

DAMN...gas is expensive as it is....here in Cali we have 87, 89, and 91. I use 91 at $3.85 and climbing...

Yup, japan gas is rated different. There 100 octane or whatever they call it is pretty close to our 93 octane.

I run 93 Octane most the time. I can get 94 Octane from Sunoco and 110 Octane Cam2 from a Toms Station. Cam2 is like 6.65 a gallon though.

I use 93 octane with 10% ethanol. About 6 month 7k miles without anyproblem with the ethanol. Its a few cents cheaper than just 93 octane

I run 93 octane. It's our premium in GA. Japanese use just MON (or is it RON?). Our rating system is R(ON) + M(ON)/2 to get the average b/t the two rating systems. One give a higher octane rating, and one lower. I can't remember which one, but in Japan they use the system that gives the higher octane number. they don't average. 91-94 octane is what you want to use.
