I read in the part's replacement post that the pulsar o2 sensor is the "same wires" as ours..but does it work the same?

What has everyone used on theirs, becuase the guy I bought the engine from said he'd send it to me, but hasn't yet.

Thanks guys,Nick

I think I checked that out and it looks the same however the slits on the sensor is not the same. One has more than the other (I believe the RB) so I don't know if it would function the same. So I used the dented one that came with the motor. Working fine.

I even tried to call Bosch but they couldn't come up with one.

CA18ET FROM 84 200SX.... WORKS FOR ME BUT THE O2 SENSORS ARE SUCH A SMALL VOLTAGE SPREAD THAT IT ALMOST MAKES IT INSIGNIFICANT.

I ended up using a universal 3-wire o2 sensor from eBay. Anything that is heated will work; they're all pretty much the same, just has to be heated.

Nick, why are you not using the narrow output from your wideband controller?

Because I was planning on removing the wideband when I sold the car, so didn't want it to rely on it.

Ok cool, so I will use the 3 wire I got from the ca18det. But now my question is how do I wire it in? I have bought pretty much everything for my motor seperate so I thought the o2 sensor was 1 wire from the factory just like the stock ka.... on my harness It looked to me like the o2 plug was apart of the harness that went to the maf. The maf is 4 wires... are you saying that the stock o2 sensor for the rb is 3 wires which is the second plug on the harness? Soorry if this is confusing... I will get some pics if you need me to. Thanks alot for the help so far.

Here are some pics with what I was trying to explain in my last post.

I thought this was the stock o2 sensor plug... (red box)Here are the other 2 plugs on that same harness... the last one I believe is the maf plug.

So what I wanted to know was if I was correct about the stock plug and if not then which one is it? Thanks.

I've used the bosch O2 from a 87 300zx Turbo. Worked great.
