They look like the same thing. Get a greddy turbo elbow.....better quality and its divided. Or check out touge factory's turbo elbow. I used to have theirs and it was top quality.

i looked at the Touge Factory one and it looks exactly the same as both ebay ones. I'll just use the ebay one for now since im strapped for cash, and if/when it breaks or w/e, i'll probably get the TF. Thanks for the info man.

If you have an S13 stock turbo, you should get the one specific for an S13 stock turbo. The S14 and S15 turbos are different. One of the holes on the top of the turbo outlet is off by 2cm. That is the difference between the exhaust side of the S13 and an S14/S15 turbo outlet. When ordering, be specific.

All the no name stuff on ebay is made by the same two or three chinese production laborer companies that do not have any sort of quality regulations to adhere to. Meaning, they're basically all the same ****ty quality. At least you're building a car and not an airplane.

I've seen an e-bay O2 elbow that wasn't able to be used because there was a 1/8th inch gap between the flange and turbo after bolting it down. The flange itself was obviously gravity cast with very poor quality materials and I suspect when they welded the piping onto it the heat made it warp.

Caveat emptor.

Well it might be more than two or three distributors:

http://www.importers.com/exhau....html

They'll make anything over there for dirt cheap. I mean, could you reasonably expect to make yourself an O2 elbow for $40 in materials? And the sellers are making a PROFIT on this stuff at that price.

Like i said im just using it as a temp solution since i have NO exhaust on my car. but if it holds, then +1 for eBay ya know? lol I do plan on getting a Megan Racing Elbow later on but im THAT strapped for cash right now and this eBay pipe will have to work lol as said before i get this on Friday and i'll post a little review on what i think of it and detailed pics.

Just to clear some stuff up, you will be fine, I think you went the right route getting the one tube design, 90% of sr owners with after market o2 housing run the same chinese product weather its named togue factory, megan, ebay etc all the same chinese crap that works just fine, good luck!

FYI, I got one of these cheap Ebay elbows and had the following issues:

1) The flange wasn't flat where it bolts to the turbo, like someone up there mentioned. $20 to get it machined down.2) The O2 bung was positively huge; I have no idea what size the thread was. $20 to get an M12 x 1.25 skinny bung welded into it.3) The pipe didn't clear the transmission. I had to hammer it on one side.4) One of the downpipe bolt holes does not line up. I had to find a smaller nut/bolt just to thread in and hold it all together.

And after all that, it's still tight going onto the turbo, because they didn't slot that one hole where it bolts to the turbo to accomodate for the slight difference between T25s and T28s. I have a T28, so you may not have this problem.

But, now it finally works, after $40 and a huge pain in the @$$. I no longer need it though; PM me if you want to buy it =P

not to sound like a d!ck, but are most ppl even READING this thread? i already stated twice that i bought one and it arrives friday. ALSO, i do not own an SR20. i have a CA18, so the setups are a little different. and i have the fat O2 sensor so the bung wont be a problem. i had an ebay one before but it hit the steering column (divorced style). Also, this is pretty much a Megan Racing O2 housing, like Ryan15 stated, Megan Racing is pretty much eBay stuff with a name. and i do have a T25 so im sure i wont have a problem, i didn't with the last one except for the steering column bs.

Thanks for all the interest though guys lol.

I missed where you said you had a CA; seeing as this is the SR forum, it's an easy mistake to make.

Quote »and i have the fat O2 sensor so the bung wont be a problem.
This bung was bigger than that, like an inch of inner diameter.

Quote »Also, this is pretty much a Megan Racing O2 housing, like Ryan15 stated, Megan Racing is pretty much eBay stuff with a name.
I replaced mine with a Megan, which fit like a glove.

I saw that you already bought one. I'm just throwing info out there, so that if you have massive problems making it fit on your car, you won't be so surprised. =P

thank you very much P240:) lol and if i have loads of problems. maybe i'll hit you up about your old O2 Housing..yea i know this is an SR forums but i figured SR20 O2 housing, SR forum, thought it might fit lol

i think if the one i bought is exactly like its pictured, it should work ok. if not, it was like $30 so its not like i spend a fortune on it..hopefully it wont be a headache and will work good!

well it arrived today and im very impressed. its not cheaply made IMHO. welds are very good and it fit almost perfect on my turbo. one of the bolt holes didn't line up but i didn't really care to much since i didn't have all the bolts to begin with. very nice quality stuff. O2 sensor fit right in and everything. for anybody with an SR20, i would recommend eBay seller's BoomBop's O2 housing.

on the CA18, the downpipe does hit the frame rail like most SR O2 housing do, so i'll remedy that with some exhaust wrap to stop it from smacking

pics will be posted later tonight.
