i've been looking around quite a bit and i'm not too sure which are the best mounts to use. i'm probably going to bet getting a motorset as opposed to a clip because clips are too expensive with wanting to replace all of the pumps, clutch, etc...

you guys probably already know this info, but i'm gonna say it anyways to make sure i know all the info.

syko performance has their swap kit that needs the r33 crossmember and brackets. Their kit also comes with an exhaust elbow and sway bar spacers which is nice. and another perk of this is the driveshaftshop has a driveshaft that will fit perfectly with the syko performance mounts. so for this i'd have to find an r33 crossmember, which i currently know where one is..and the guy wants $200 for it...

mckinney motorsports has their kit that uses the stock s13 crossmember. means not having to find an r33 crossmember but having to buy or fabricate to accomodate the LHD.

theres also tophat performance. i don't know too much about tophat...but i'm assuming they are like mckinney and use the stock s13 crossmember.

does mckinney and tophat's mounts sit the engine lower and further back too? i think they do, but i'm not positive on that one.

i'm leaning towards the syko performance because of the extras it comes with.any input on this is greatly appreciated!

I got the SYKO mounts and I'm happy with them. Can't really comment on how they compare since I have no basis of comparison. But it's a real nice kit and their customer service was pretty good.

You should search up these mounts as there has been a lot of discussion on this topic already. But i'll throw out some other info. I don't see having a driveshaft with the kit much of a perk. Any local driveshaft shop can make you a driveshaft for around $250-$300. Just tell them what kind of yoke and rear flange your using as well as the length from trans to diff, and thats it. Also using the R33 crossmember means having to bend around the powersteering lines, which I hate doing because it always looks like crap. Also buying a mount kit, is supposed to be a drop in kit for the 240, so there shouldn't be any mods needed for LHD

Eliminate the power steering lines which you should do anyway and get a real power steering cooler for $50.

i have searched quite a bit about all these different mounts. i'm also trying to get peoples opinions about these so i can make a good decision on which ones to use myself. i haven't really seen any review type posts on here or anywhere either. i juse see that people have used these mounts but they don't say how good or bad they are. if you or anybody knows of any reviews or anything, i would definitely like to see them. im just trying to figure out the best route to go as far as the mounts go.

ok so just as luck would have it....i found a thread (and am assuming there are several more) about people's opinions on which mounts to use. seems to me that syko will most likely be the way to go. guess i didn't look hard enough or use the search bar enough before.

Nope just mounting kit and turbo elbow. the driveshaft you buy from DSS i believe for like $300 for the steel one and $399 for the aluminum one.

I met up with a local guy last weekend that got the RB25DET S14 mckinney set, he hates them, had to do a lot of customizing to get them to work and his steering binds up on him.

I have a syko kit and was telling him it was a breeze to toss it in.
