I know this is kinda vague, but if you had to make a close to accurate guess.All are 5-speed.1)ka24det (fmic,stock internals,fuel pump,boost controller)2)ka24de (built up,pulleys,cams,pistons,rods,etc)3)sr20det (fmic,stock internals,fuel pump,boost controller)

I know,I know ,but just tell me which you would think would get better mpg.and vote!which would have better gas mileage?

SR20

I'd say it would be possible for the KA to be better but it would take some really good tuning

I would say SR becuase it was built to have a turbo and the KA has a bigger displacement.

It would really depend on how much you get into the throttle. The nice thing about a turbo is the fact that it takes time to spool up. It’s not always on and you can limit, with some control with the throttle how much you utilize the turbo. I picked the SR20 because of its lower displacement and turbo setup. I am sure the difference between all three engines is marginal. It’s not like the difference between a Supercharged V-8, V-6 turbo and a 4 cylinder N/A.
