but performance wise, i think the enthusiasm, touring and grand touring are the same right?AZ89two4Tsx wrote:But really, it would be more helpful if you posted pictures of the interior. Isn't the only exterior difference between the Z's the wheels? I guess calipers too if that counts.
As you can see from the pics you posted in your original post, the wheels are different. The easiest way to tell the difference is to see the interior and the options it has. Steering wheel mounted controls? Power seats?marchockey13 wrote:

please let me know with details
And here are the different models, perhaps that will help... ?

I did tell the year ... 2005evildky wrote:well, it's not a GT, the GT was available in 06-08 ( you didn't tell us year) and the GT has rays 5 spoke wheels and brembo brakes
touring has leather seats, not sure if enth does but I know a lot of dealers were adding aftermarket leather to lesser models on the coupes
BusyBadger wrote:Look to the left of the steering wheel and look for a rectangular button on the dash that reads either "VDC Off" or "TCS Off".
If it says VDC its a Touring model, if it reads TCS its an Enthusiast.
DOAH!well then it couldn't have been a GTmarchockey13 wrote:

I don't see Brembos in the photos. It could very well be a Touring, when I told him to check the TCS/VDC button I failed to ask one question...bmike818 wrote:

yeah it does ... its automatic and u can switch it to manual ...BusyBadger wrote:I don't see Brembos in the photos. It could very well be a Touring, when I told him to check the TCS/VDC button I failed to ask one question...
Does it have an automatic transmission?
it never becomes a manual, it's either and auto or a manual, your's is an auto, if you have a clutch pedal it's a manual, you can manually shift your auto but it's still an automarchockey13 wrote:

like that :
So if u put the thing to the right it becomes manual. Sorry for not knowing the right terms, im french :P
well on the other side ... i checked many VIN decoder websites , and beside the model section, it said : ''Enthusiast/Touring/GrandTouring''BusyBadger wrote:No knowing that its an automatic, I'm with Mike on this one...its most likely the touring model. Its not a GT since: a) it doesn't have Brembo brakes and b) the GT wasn't offered until '06. This was mentioned earlier in the thread.
I thought the TCS/VDC button made it a no-brainer until I remembered something - auto transmission equipped Touring models don't get VDC, they have TCS. While an Enthusiast could potentially get leather and the Bose stereo (remember the poster a few months ago that had a non-standard engine?) I'm going to have go with Occam's Razor on this one and say its a touring model.
Canada - 350Z - roadster...you have a second car for the winter I hope.
