how do i know what model i have the window sticker when i bought the car didnt say nor was it labeled on the car that i know of

What are your seats like? If they are like velour (soft material) it's an S model.

Did your car come with hubcaps? If so, it's an S model.

I think that some cars that did not come with any labels were an S model. My coworker bought a brand new 09 S model hatchback and there was no badging on it.

I have no idea. But for some reason some people who bought "S" models got the "S" badging, while others did not.
I don't know Nissan's reasoning behind it.

if you have a 1.6 it is not an S model. if you have a/c and abs then you have a 1.6 if not you have a 1.6 base.
