Hello all,

I am confused on which springs I want to lower my 240sx with. I got 5Zigen wheels on my car 17X8 in front 17X9 in rear. 225/45/17 front and 245/45/17 in rear. I want to lower my car a little to fill the fender gap, which springs do I want in order to maintain the best ride / handling of my 240sx?

Here are 4 spring sets I was considering, can anyone offer any criticism?Eibach pro kit Eibach sportline TEIN S.TECHTEIN H.TECH

I want my car to handle at its best, I also may want to drift, so I need your advise on which set I need.

I am also looking to replace my factory speakers with aftermarket ones without doing major mods (Cutting metal etc). I have heard guys say go with 6.5 and other guys say go with 6.75 I just need to know what size I should get. Other guys have said, it dosen't matter the speaker size, just make sure the speaker specs ask for a 5.5 cutout size, anyone got ideas?

Check out the pic below, thats how the baby is sitting right now.

Thanks to all in advance.

Cheerz!!

Eibach are good but, your going to have to choose a shock to match up with it. Koni Yellow, Kyb Agx,Tokicos,etc.. Pricing varies so search, stock shocks won't last too long especially with Sportlines.

6.5 is stock, easy swap in/out. I'm running MB quarts in the front of my S14 using stock bracket.

as far as the springs go, it depends on the kind of ride quality you want...the ones you listed are on the softer side but its your call

as for the speakers, we also have a car audio forum that might be able to help you a little better

S. Tech and KYB AGX is probably the most proven street/mild track duty setup, and the ride quality isn't bad at all.Don't JUST change the spring, you should absolutely go with upgraded shocks/dampers otherwse you'll nearly negate any gains you'd have by changing the springs..

that said, the H tech and eibach prokit will work well with KYB GR-2's since the gr-2 is only 20% stiffer than stock, and both of those spring combo's spring rates will work fine with that level of dampening.

If you go with anything stiffer, get some Koni yellow or KYB AGX shocks so they can handle the spring rate.s

you can fit 6.75 speakers in the rear easily. fronts are just regular 6.5
