WASUP guys...

I finally found my 98 240sx that im gonna buy... I should have it within 2 weeks...!!! Hell, ive been searching for almost 3 months now. AND IT HAS A SUNROOF..... YEAH ....!!!!As some of you know, I had a 98 240sx with a 40k mile ka-t ( that was wrecked and totalled out ) and i kept the engine and its now sitting in the garage all lonely and waiting to be put back to use..!!

This 40k mile ka motor that is in the garage has the asp pulley, fidanza flywheel, and act clutch already in... And probably the ONLY ka motor in orlando that has ZERO emission crap on it... The manifold is so free of emission junk, I can put my arm thru the bottom of the runners FROM the top of the throtte body and almost touch the firewall..!! I may be exagerating a bit there, but i can seriously fit my arm under the runners..!!

Here is my question:Should i REMOVE the 110k mile motor and put IN my 40k mile ka motor in its place..???

OR

Should I LEAVE the 110k mile motor in and just add the pulley, flywheel and clutch to it ALONG with the obvious turbo parts...?? And of course remove all the emission crap too....

Either way its done, if the ka motor i use happens to blow on me, I will have another spare laying in the garage, then i can rebuild the blown one with FORGED INTERNALS.......

What are yuor opinions...??

ThanksRobert

i would put the 40k motor in. then if that one ever goes out you can build the other one up, since it has a lot of miles on it already.

I'd check the compression on both. If there's a decent difference between them, I'd choose the better of the two. If they're comparable, go with the lower mileage one.
