thanks. I'm not really looking for cheapest but durability, function, etc. I don't mind paying more if its going to be worth it down the road if you know what i'm saying.

Spend the extra cash and get the B&M. I think it's worth more then what you pay for it. A beautiful shifter, a little noisy but shifting is very very accurate!!

I thought that the chatter assosiated with the B&M shifter had been eliminated with the newest iteration. Maybe I'm wrong. I would say the B&M because of I've heard nothing but good things about it. However, I have never driven a 240 with a NISMO shifter installed........I'm partial to NISMO, maybe I'll take the gamble and tell every one how it feels!!!!

the nismo is not a short shifter just a solid shifter.....doesnt shorten throws, just makes them feel more"solid".....for the price i love my b&m....noise above 5k still but i talked to the b&m guys at d1 and they said all the noise cannot be eliminated....the tolerances are so tight and there is so little clearance that its still gonna make noise.....personaly a little noise over 5k is a fair trade off for having the right gear in a short period of time consistantly and thats what the b&m will do for you, make you more consistant with your shifting.....im not a salesman i just stand by a company that only does one thing and one thing well. b&m does shifters,,,,the best made personaly
