which is tach wire for the sr?

i want to install my tach, but since im new to these sr's i have to ask you experts here.

now which wire on the distributer do i hook up the green wire off the tach up to?

Um..

The is no distributer on an SR. (SR20DET that is)

But if you look at your wiring harness (coming out of the ecu going to the dash harness), there is a yellow wire with a red stripe (assuming s13 sr). That's your tach signal wire. I believe you can tap into that wire.

no dumbass i didnt buy no ebay junk. and i know there is no distributer, sr uses coil packs. there usaully is a wire that u can tap into or the ECU wire

then why did you say "now which wire on the distributer do i hook up the green wire off the tach up to?" hmmmm. Sounds to me you didnt know what you were talking about.

None the less you can use the Tach Signal wire that goes to the ECU by picking up a PIN lyout of the SR ECU or you can hook it to a CAS wire which can be found on the PIN layout also.
