Which is cheaper? SR longblock + parts or complete motorset?

I wonder which would be cheaper to assemble.. an SR20DET longblock and then scrape all the necessary parts together
or just buying a complete motorset.
Seeing how longblocks range in price from $200 to $1000 compared to complete motorsets.. would it just be cheaper to get the longblock and piece it together?

Depends on the parts you need for the long block. Usually a motor set would be cheaper.

what kind of power are u trying to deliver, daily ride, what kind of income do u have available... many variables.. gl with what u choose!
