Which is better TWIN CAM or SINGLE CAM for a stock Ka24de?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Wassup NICOCLUB! Im a new member to da club and i have a couple questions. Im currently a college student in Tenn but Live in NY, so the finacial status aint dat high at this point yet. lol Im about to buy an S13 but have to choose between 2 vehicles. Both being the same, having stock KA24DE engines. The only diffrence is one is a twin cam the other a single cam. My question is which one would be better buy for me in the long run? The twin or the single cam? Because i plan on rebuilding the engines from block up. Which would i get more power and performance from? I also heard that the single cam S13 doesn't come with power steering and the twincam does, depending on the year? Is this true? Im also planning 2 swap the Ka24de for a SR20DET sometime in the next year in a half or so. If you have any tips or information on these questions please feel to drop some. Thanks, Tomasz

if you are wondering what is going on here.... you are asking a question that can easily be answered using the Button located above this page

It depends, if your swapping it out in a year that whats the damn difference? ur pulling it out regardlesss

if you plan on simple boltons go DOHC

turbos are more comfortable with SOHC due to compression.

just try searching a bit before posting such a broad question here. Thanks

ooh and...
