Which is better SR20DET Swap Or VG30DETT? Or just sell my N/A Z and buy a TT Z?

VGDETT of course, if your doing the swap...it'll be cheaper. otherweise buy a TT

Buy a TT:

Reason 1. higher resale valuse than NA with swapped motorReason 2. swaps are tremendously expensive (i am putting in a TT motor/transmission in a TT shell and I have spent well over $3k in parts)Reason 3: insurance is not much different from NAs to TTs (most insurance companies don't know the difference)Reaosn 4: swaps take years off of your life (enormous amount of stress)

I agree, it will be a much larger initial investment but youll be better off in the long run.

Put in the VG or buy a TT. Why would you put a 2.0L 4-cylinder in a 3300lb car?

Hmm I don't know i was asking because i've seen some a couple of Z with the SR20 Swap and in line 4 is not that bad just looking for info deciding what i want to do with the car and what would be better in the long run. because i here ppl tell me that I would be better off selling my car and buying a tt Z than Swaping one in and when i hear the number of cast you have to put down to swat it out, or I look on line is a whole lot of cash like Z1motorsport.com lol

and am new to Zs because I came out of Rotories my car was stolen so I got a z with my insurance cash.

i did the swap myself. cost me less than a grand. it's hard to find a tt in good shape at a reasonable. price. but the absolute best way to go would be a to buy a tt with a perfect body and a blown engine. then replace it yourself
