Which iPod/mp3 Jack is the best?

I did some research on Ipod/mp3 jacks. Seems like there are difference as far as the functionality (steering wheel controls, display, not being able to change folder after plug in), and the way they are installed.

Whats the best way to go? Any info you got would be greatly appreciated.

This is the one ai used - in hindsight I should have spent a little more to get the version with steering wheel controls and disply information on factory radio but oh well. This version allows me to control the ipod directly, charge the ipod, and the install is totally hidden - I have the ipod routed to my armrest - so no visible wires for thieves to see.



This version plugs in back of the radio through the satellite port. Takes a good 1-2 hours to install. I actually did my install twice because I forgot one of the 2 connections the first time. You have to remove the radio/ac unit, the transmission "cover", and several panels below the dash.
