I'm looking for a cold-air intake for my '98 I30, but I'm having a hard time making a decision. Stillen has one that is supposed to fit, and Injen makes one for the Maxima, but I'm not sure which model of Injen will fit the Infinity (it's not listed on their site).

Does anyone have tips or experiences they can share?

Welcome to NICO.

You can't go wrong with either of those choices. As for which Injen would fit, it'd be the same as a 98 Max.

Thanks Scott! I also received this further information from an Injen Tech:

look at your air temp sensor, if it screws into the air box then you would want to use RD1925P, if it is plugged in then you would want to use the RD1930P, Because we have not tested the I30 we can not guaranty proper fitment or operation.

i have some experience info, i bought an ebay intake for 35 shipped, it was supposed to be a cold air but since it was for a maxima and i was putting it on an i30 i couldn't use the cold air part so i made it a short ram. it sounded great and there wass no noticeble loss in power, not much gain either but the throttle response was better.
