Hello everyone. I'm currently in the process of putting together a turbo kit for my DE, and I am stumped upon what to do for my fueling needs. I have already got a SAFC II, z32 maf, and a walbro pump. My question is which injectors will support my goal of about 260rwhp. I have got a gtir t28 turbo, ssautochrome manifold, fmic, 3in exhaust, msd 6al and btm, and the other typical stuff. Any help will be appreciated.

Chris

Simple answer: You'll need 480s at least...

To elaborate:

You'll need 480s at least...unless you run more fuel pressure.

370s can be safely over run at 4bar base fuel pressure (58psi with vacuum disconnected) and will flow ~427cc.

Since you have an AFC, makes it easy. All you need is an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a gauge.

And FYI...427cc injectors can do ~266rwhp as a "safe" max, assuming 90% duty cycle and .55 BSFC.

Hey, correct me if I'm wrong, but:Pounds of fuel per hour per injector = (expected HP X 0.55) / number of injectors.

260 X 0.55 ________ = 35.75 lbs/hour 4

To convert to cc/minute multiply by 10.5

35.75 X 10.5 = 375.375 cc

480 cc injectors would be enough (theoretically) for 332.3 HP

...assuming 90% duty cycle...

A 417cc injector at 90% acts like the 375cc injectors (375/0.9).

Orion was accounting for duty cycle (as you should...)
