Mine is Desert Platinum sp? with the technology package and it seems all other options. I would post pix but the car is at Infiniti of Tampa getting the Tire Pressure Monitoring System & seal around the front driver's door replaced. Thank God mine is C.P.O with the Elite Warranty as well, which covers the nav when the bumper to bumper lapses. Cheers and Thank You Again,Mark

Glad to see another of the older models is on here. I love the unique looks of the car.

Good to see that the AWD is working so well in snow conditions!

I'll post a picture as soon as I take one :-)

2007 M45 Sport, Stillen Near Cat Exhaust, Injen CAI upcoming. Want to add a turbo and mods, but am so very car uneducated and do not know where to look or who to trust other than my Stillen guy (but he just knows exhausts and is doing the CAI as a favor to me).

Any suggestions on specific items, I would appreciate it.

03 Ivory Pearl/Graphite M45. I have been a big fan of this car since its launch and finally found the right one at the right price. In my opinion, this is one of the coolest cars produced in a long time. The best part is, I am the only person that I personally know that has one. This is a very informative site. Great Moderators. I plan on being here for awhile. Thanks!

2003 M45 Black - Love the car. Thought it was the best for the money. Amazing how many comments I get about how it looks. I am really puzzled as to why it didn't sell better.

This is a great site. Thanks to all of you for the info.

I have trouble with the gas gauge and already replaced sending unit. Failed again, now they are replacing cluster in the dash and I am hoping that fixes it. I also have the trunk problem. I will keep poking around the site looking for the solution.

Anyone who has found some after market exterior styling parts (ground effects, spoiler, etc.) please let me know.

Thanks!

Two solutions:

a. If the car is still under warranty, get Infiniti to replace the struts. Has cured my problem.

b. Check out the auto trunk-opener at Burtman Industries web site: http://www.burtmanindustries.com ... run by Jason Burtman.

Unfortunately, there is not much available here, certainly not at any decent prices, for the 2003/4 models ... not enough demand since the car's sales volume is so low for the US market.

You might look at Jason's website for possibilities. Or, if you find something interesting in Japan, he may be able to get it through his sources.

Enjoy!

Just picked up my 2006 M35 Sport tonight. Actually my salesman was nice enough to deliver it in the midst of this crazy April snow/rain storm. It's black/black with 45k on it. I'm coming out of a 1996 740iL which was just a spectacular car in every way except maintenance/reliability. I didn't want to go down the German road again (no matter how nice a new 5 or 7 drives, it's a service revenue generator first and the ultimate driving machine second), and the American choices were almost nonexistent. The CTS-V was promising (what a BLAST to drive) but GM screwed the pooch by putting run-flats on it (WHY???). Nothing like replacing $400 tires every 10-15k and not being able to pick any other wheels (6-bolt pattern). Idiots...

So, I test drove just about everything I could think of and was about to buy a 2007 G35S when I looked out the window of the dealership and saw this car sitting there. I was pondering G35S vs G35x (love them both for different reasons) and I couldn't help thinking about the black M35 staring at me from the "pre owned" lot. I was all of 10 seconds into the test drive when it hit me - this is THE ONE. Not as narrow and go-karty as the G35, it was exactly what I was looking for.

Can't wait to drive it some and take some pics. Once the rain is gone and I can make it look presentable I'll do that. I've enjoyed reading up on the car here and I wish I had seen a 03-04 M45 from the glowing reviews I've read so far. You guys have a rare and very cool ride.

Has anyone installed the trunk opener advertised on Jason Burtman's site? The quote for parts to replace the autmatic trunk opener alone cost almost $500 and this item which would seemingly solve the problem is only $129.95. Not saying too good to be true.... but would like to know if anyone is using and for how long?

Thanks for the input.

I have been using Burtman's, but only half of it (ie one shock). It opens the trunk about 12" which is perfect for me. I don't want the trunk to open all the way with the heavy Florida rains in summertime.

If you're interested in the other half of the kit, hit me up.
