which headlights do I have?

I have done a search but couldn't find out which type of headlights I have. My passenger turn light and lowbeam light have gone out but I don't know if I have halogen or HID lights. Is there a way you can tell by looking at them? I have a 2003 g35 sedan. Can you also tell me the stock part #'s. Thanks.

I don't have the answer, but I suspect that if you download the FSM from http://www.phatg20.net/modules...id=55You'll find all your answers. Plus you will be able to use it to troubleshoot and repair any other problems that show up later.

EVERY Infiniti owner should download the FSM for their car. That will save a lot of searching and questions.

Agreed on the FSM. I think there were some early G35s available with halogen low beams. Is your other one working? It should flicker slightly when it comes on and look more like an arc welder than a standard bulb if it's the HID unit. Mine typically take a few seconds to warm up after they flicker on... going from a purpleish to very blueish white light.

Thanks for the replys...my light does flicker a little and grows brighter really quickly. I think I finally found an answer to my own question while checking out standard options on the 03 sedan. It read that the base model without leather had halogen and all other models including mine (with leather) have HID. Thanks again guys. Maybe someone else can use this now
