I bought a set of pioneer ts a 1667 (front and back) a few years ago and am looking to upgrade my audio system. I've read that pioneer has the best bang 4 the buck on a budget. I'm not looking for anything that would exceed the ability of the speakers. I have a high end home theatre system ( my other hobby) thats more important then my car "tunes". What pioneer should i be getting? Under $150 on ebay !

If you want car audio bang for the buck without a hassle, Pioneer and Kenwood are often the best choice. Stay away from sub-$150 products made by Aiwa, Sony, and Jensen.

No problem! I'll take some pics tonight of my system. Jesda- I was planning on buying a pioneer and i didn't want to spend over $150 if i didn't have to. It would be a waste to buy high end audio if the speakers couldn't handle the crisp clearity.

Boston Accoustic All the speakers are in cherryvr-m80 vr-mcvr-mxvr-m/expv1000 If you think about, you can enjoy a home system for a good 15 years as i did with my last setup. The cost really doesn't seem that bad.
Here is another toy i'd get if i can find a few more sponsers to help pay the bill.

I use the sub when i watch movies. It's in the corner and hard to get to do to car parts being everywhere. My setup is 2 years old.I know the difference between music and home theatre. Is there a write up about switching the head unit in the 240. My cd changer broke 2 yrs ago.

I don't know if there's a writeup, but if ask on Nico, plenty of people have changed to aftermarket HUs.
If you don't mind me asking, what model Sunfire is that, and how much did it cost? I've read about them in "Sound & Vision" and they almost always get a good review.

THis was the time when "moving violation" was selling his s13 for 6k since he was moving up north. I almost took it back to the store for a refund to buy pauls car!
