which gas to use at the track

ive been filling up at the track with 103 octane gas. is it safe to use 110 octane race gas with my setup?(setup in sig)

my boyfriend used 110 octance in his supra but i've never used it in my 240... it didnt mess anything up as far as that goes... **note he didnt even notice a difference b/t 95 and 110** he only used it 2 times because of that**

sometimes factory turbo motors will adjust for the higher octane and run more timing advance to increase power on its own

mainly the higher octane is used to run more boost or more timing or leaner afr's for higher power without detonation

im guessing you have the stock turbo on the sr? if so there really isnt a need for 110. that turbo wont be able to make enough power to need race gas unless its not tunned at all and ridiculously overboosted

i used 110 for my first dyno day over 500rwhp (523rwhp 498rwtq at 27psi and was just fine. usually i put c16 in now just to play it extra safe
