About to buy new g37 with Prem/Nav - Question

Is the sport package worth it ? Reviews say the ride is harsh ?
Do the summer tires on the sport do OK in wet traction ? How about cold weather (Not Snow or ice - Any RWD vehicle will do lousy there)
Any other reasons to avoid the sport package ?

Can anyone compare the G37 vert to the BMW 3 series hardtop vert (I know it costs more) ?

You need to test drive both the cars to be able to judge but in this forum, I doubt any one will suggest BMW.

The G37 vert with sports package is charm to drive - summer tires are OK in wet (but not much rain falls in So. Cal).

I think G37 vert is lot more car for your money. :dblthumb:

Good Luck with what ever your mind and pocket can agree with.

Agree about the sport package. Bigger and better brakes come with it, and I never thought the ride is unusually harsh. I got the G w sport specifically because I didn't want my car to have a "touring" or "soft" feel to it. Never considered the 328 vert because of the smaller engine and power. The 335 vert looks and performs great, but the price was waaaaaay too steep, especially after all the packages and options thrown in. Also, there are alot more BMW verts on the road than the Infiniti, so you will be less common driving a G vert.

Only downside (if there is one) is that the car is heavy. Especially when you compare it to both the Lexus and BMW hard top verts. I knew it going into buying my car, and you notice it here and there while driving, mostly from accelerating from a stop... it's alot of weight and the torque is a tiny bit less than the coupe which doesn't help matters.

I have had my car almost 3 years now, and I love driving it every single time I get in it.
