Hello,

I had a 03 M45 and was on this forum all the time. Now i can come over to your side so any help will be greatly appreciated. I am still going through all the forums but i dont think any one has posed these questions.

I am putting on some wheels on my car. 20x8.5 front and 20x10.5 rear. Lets just assume its going to be the perfect offset. My questions are:

1. will my car look stupid without it being lowered

2. If i want to lower it, will the eibach sportline springs lower the car to much where i cant corner hard without the front tires rubbing? (i am not changing the shocks/struts). I want the fenders really close to the tires without going over the tires.

3. if sportline is to low then will pro kit be fine?

4. Lastly if prokit is fine then would you recommend the eibach prokit or the tein s springs.

Thank you again.

You can run 20" wheels without any problems. Key is the offset for any wheel choice you decide. Now perfect offset for the 20x8.5" would be 15-22. For the 20x10.5" 15-22 as well. You shouldn't have any fitment problems or rubbing issues, especially in the front. Depending on your tire size in the rear, you may need to roll the fenders.

It seems the Tein Springs are the most commonly used. Just take into account that more than a 1" or so drop you may need to run adjustable camber components. I would suggest the Tein H techs, they give less of a drop than the S techs.
