Well, for some reason my walbro pump doesn't just prime for a few seconds when I turn the key....It'll prime continously, and doesn't stop. You can hear the fuel gushing by the fpr, and I think it's just dumping it in the cylinders. Because I have very hard starts in the morning, so it's getting way too much fuel.

My question is, which fpr is everyone using? I'm thinking the nismo one, but will the type A bolt right up to my redtop? Has anyone used the megan racing one? I figure they all do the same thing, but I want one that bolts right up.

What should the stock fuel pressure be? Is it different while at idle then it is when driving in boost? Please help me out guys, thanks!

What problems have you had with the megan one? Does it bolt right up like the nismo type A one does? Also, how exactly do you hook the gauge up, just inline with the fuel line that goes from filter to fpr? Thanks for the info.

Several megan ones malfunctioned for various reasons. If you don't mind replacing it every 3-6 months use the Megan one.

Fuel pressure should be at 43 NOT hooked up (ambient pressure) and 35 when hooked up and engine is seeing 20" vacuum.

Yours might be priming due to a turbo timer. Earlier GReddy versions caused this. It will not make you run rich or cause hard starts however it will eventually wear the pump out sooner but by sooner I mean 20k miles as aposed to 24k miles. Honestly I wouldn't worry about that at all. If you really want one just use a Type A Nismo but remember to get some sort of inline gauge.

The gauge will go in between the Filter and the fuel rail. The hose routing should go from pump to filter, to rail, through the rail, then through FPR, and return to the tank. If your is anything but that you will want to reroute the lines. Having the filter after the FPR does nothing for your injectors and that is what the filter is there for.

Sweet, thanks for the good info. I think my pump primes continuosly because the previous owner bypassed the stock fuel power line, and ran it to his own relay/power down by the ecu. When I hook back up the stock power lines to the pump, nothing works, and there's no power at the fuel pump ecu pin. I can't figure it out, and it's always primed continuously like this.

I'll get the gauge/adapter asap, if it's over those psi specs, then I'll get a nismo type A. But it is gushing, it's really loud when you pop the hood and listen by the filter and fpr. It never shuts off either.

I do have a greddy tt, but just barely put it on....it's been priming like this since I bought the car and put the walbro in months ago.
